Our Purpose

At Orari, we are a place that is deeply rooted in person-centered care, emphasizing a grounded perspective that prioritizes people over labels or diagnoses. In a landscape where tired words like anxiety, depression, and addiction oversimplify the complexity of human experiences and reduce people to symptoms, Orari believes in your distinct narrative, understanding that no two stories are alike. Without judgment, our focus is entirely on you, tailoring our treatment to your specific needs and aspirations in an ethical and empathic manner.

Why O-ra-ri?

In Latin, “ora” means “to speak.” It also evokes the notion that our identity is rooted in our memories. When we remember collectively, we forge a profound sense of belonging.

FOUNDER and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist

Meet Nicole Rizkallah

Raised with values of honesty, hospitality, and humor, I recognize the importance of meeting you precisely where you are. Every person carries stories about their identity, shaped by their families and the world around them. I have personally navigated my own history and intergenerational trauma, reclaiming parts of myself that were lost and shedding the burdens that were never mine to carry.

As a therapist, my path toward this profession has been deeply entwined with my own personal longing for meaning and purpose. Growing up as a first-generation American, I grappled with the challenges of code-switching and a sense of not belonging to either my Middle Eastern community or my American one. I firmly believe that one's sense of identity and communal belonging is foundational to a well-lived life.

I specialize in working with individuals, couples, and families to heal emotional wounds. I am well aware of the temptation in the realm of healing and personal growth to view our weaknesses as obstacles to overcome, rather than elements that add to the richness of our humanity. Instead, I encourage embracing our vulnerabilities as part of what makes us beautifully human.
